What a fantastic AGM yesterday!
Congratulations to Darryn Dyer on receiving Life Membership—a well-deserved honour recognising your dedication and contribution to our club over many years. 👏
Congratulations also to our Club Champion, Andrew McColl and to all of this season's trophy winners. Your achievements are something to be proud of!
A huge thank you to all of our volunteers. Our club simply wouldn't exist without the time, energy and passion you generously give throughout the year.
Finally, welcome to our new committee. We wish you all the best for the year ahead and look forward to another great season on and off the water. ⛵️

Introducing CBTYR - Class Based Trailable Yacht RATING - Presented by Greg Heins

Mixed fleet trailable racing relies on a fair handicapping system. This has traditionally been CBH. In 2019, Australian Sailing changed to a new CBH system that has lacked credibility. The CBTYR is an initiative championed by MTYC . It allows harmonisation of the traditional CBH handicaps for established trailable classes with ORC handicaps for new or modified boats.

If you want to know more MTYC extends open invitation to a presentation on Friday evening, 7th of August at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (RMYS)

The event is free but registrations are essential: https://mtyc.yachting.org.au/events/368948
