Flashback to... when was this? An article in the Northern Star about John Clemmett kayaking at Iluka... and picking up other people's rubbish, as always.

Yesterday as he turned to get onto a wave (at Byron Bay), John nearly collided with an adult whale that had been sneaking around. One way to get the heart rate up!

Had a brilliant paddle with whales this morning, cow and calf humpback whales did a spectacular breach twenty metres from us 😳😳 then came over to check us out ❤️ magnificent mammals up close 👍👍👍

Just another morning paddle at Wategos Beach. Grumpy ocean but that's what the Challenge Breeze likes. Very stable in most conditions. Experience and knowledge of the ocean John has. Come and tries at Brunswick Heads where you can experience either the Challenge Sequel or Breeze and get tips on how to paddle and exit and re entry into the kayak. See you soon.
