The club had a great day yesterday for Digger's day. Thank you to Aaron and Jacqui Ritchie for putting this day on. Nice to see a full green again with 64 players. Some of them travelled from Victoria area to Townsville and in-between.

Results are as follows:
Winner: Ken Mooey team 31.
Runners Up: Kim Hankensen team 30.
Last Round: Danny Hughes team 16 (on a count back on ends)
Winners of the dog's paw spoon: Sue Butz 16 (on a count backon ends).

Thank you to all coming and supporting the day and to our club volunteers too for their hard work.

Yes, we are opening for this Friday night drinks and nibbles only (no meals at this stage). Cost $5/ person for the nibbles. All welcome.

This Saturday morning bowls day for Digger's 10th birthday. All are welcome to attend or just watch, unfortunately all teams are now full.

History made again for the bowls club!!! End of a era for the old lights...

Tomorrow morning at towards end of the day, the old lights exchanged for new LED lights installed ready for our social night bowls (on the 10th September) and our other events held at the club.

Thanks to the electricians (from Pittsworth) who installed them in for us, a big job, well done 👏

Don't forget about this Saturday afternoon is social bowls day for club trophy. Starts at 1pm, names in before 12.30pm please. All are welcome and casual dress.
