See you at our monthly Brewery Runs. Do you like running? You're gonna LOVE this! We bring a celebration of chugging and running to the track at the Aussie Beer Mile every January. We also host the annual Winter Solstice Beer Mile in June, PLUS monthly free brewery runs - keeping us chugging and running together, while supporting the craft brewery scene in Melbourne 🍻🏃

WHAT’S A BEER MILE? Chug a beer, run 400m; chug a beer, run 400m; chug a beer, run 400m; chug a beer, run 400m.
= Four beers, one mile 💪

BEER MILE RULES:

1. Beers must be opened and finished within the 10 metre transition zone.
2. Beer vessels, once empty, must be tipped over competitor’s head to verify emptiness.
3. Beers are BYO but must be (around about) standard stubbie/can volume (355mL) and 5% alcohol.
4. Drinking of beers may not be aided externally in any way (e.g. no shotgunning, no straws, no specialized cans/bottles).
5. Competitors who chunder before they finish the mile must complete one penalty lap at the end of their fourth lap.

Whilst ABMC is having a Spring Break check out Hopheads B**r Run! Dave Spargo (HHRC Yarraville OG and regular) is running it back — the second HHRC B**r Run, September 12.

A 10.5–11km course through some of Melbourne's best breweries: Mountain Culture Melbourne → Brewmanity → Pirate Life → CBCo, finishing in Port Melbourne. From there, the crew heads back to Hopheads Yarraville for celebratory drinks. Hopheads

Dave's put this one together and we love what it's about — stoked to host the after party. 18+ event.

Meeting at Mountain Culture at 12pm.
Start running at 12:45pm.
