It’s time to conjure up some speed at the Merri Magic Mile this September. Join the Melbourne running community at the Merri Magic Mile on Saturday, September 10th, held at Ge
orge Knott Athletics track. With heats spread over the afternoon, winners of each heat will be awarded prizes from our generous sponsors, Ciele Athletics & Upthere Athletics. Got the magic touch to break 4.00min (m) - 4.36.3min (f) in the mile? There’s a $500 prize up for grabs! Running is a team sport. Introducing the Distance Medley Relay Exhibition. Mixed, 2-person teams of two race it out over alternating legs, medley relay style. Comprising 1200m + 1600m + 800m + 400m legs (in that order). Pick your partner, create your team or join as wildcards for your chance to take home $500 in cash for first place. (Runner 1 runs 1200 + 800m; Runner 2 runs 1600 + 400m. You choose what order you run!)
