The Queensland U21 Billiards has now commenced at the Club. Some very fine young Billiard players are competing today. Get on down if have tine and watch the future Billiard players in action today.
U21 Snooker will be contested tomorrow so the room is closed today and tomorrow to social play until all matches are completed.

Attention Members, table 1 will be out of service until late Saturday. We are undertaking replacement of the cushion rubbers. There could be a slight delay which may see finalisation on Monday 15th. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello Members. The draws for all our Club Snooker Comps are now posted in the room. A player contact list is also included. Match deadlines are also on the draw sheets. Best of luck to all who have entered.

Day 2 finished up with Scotty's table assembled and all 3 tables levelled. All 3 tables have now had the bed cloths replaced and cushions were being recovered late in the afternoon. Day 3 will see the work completed and play should be available after the tables have been inspected in the afternoon.

Day 1 of the reclothing of our tables. As fate would have it, some issues discovered along the way. The crew are working through these and have put in a really big day. Here at 6am and still here 11hrs later. Tables will be out of action until Saturday.

The committee advises that the Snooker Room will be closed for all forms of play from Wednesday 15th until close of business Thursday 16th April. This is to allow Allen Billiards to recover the tables and replace 1 table with the table currently in storage at the Club. A small extension of time may be required into Friday should anything go awry. We hope this will not inconvenience our members greatly. The Oldies and Handicap comps move to Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th April respectively for that week only. These works will greatly enhance the playing conditions for all members. We would like to thank the Redlands RSL Management for their assistance in making these upgrades possible.

Happy Easter to all our Members. Nomination forms for our Club Open, B Grade and C Grade snooker competitions will be posted in the room from 4pm today. Nominations will close at 6pm on Thursday April 30th and the draws will be posted shortly thereafter. Please remember only those members that are currently financial are eligible to enter.
