Range opening's will be posted on the page during the week. Clermont Rifle Club was started in 1897, it moved to it's present location in 1994 after floods destroyed the butts at the town range. The Perrin & Crocket Range, now boasts ranges from 300 to 1000metres. Club House facilities include a kitchen, showers, toilets and a parking Area for caravans & Campers. Many World class shooters
have originated in Clermont, including Billy Sing, a famous sniper from WW1. Mervin London, our Secretary for over 40 yrs, Represented Australia in Canada at the World Championships some years back. We as a Club Provide the opportunity for weekly club and competition shoots,
Clermont Rifle Club is a great organisation to be involved in, from novice shooters to expert marksmen. A great tradition of the club is being carried on by the current senior members, in the training and coaching of new members. Come out and have a look, the club shoots every Sunday morning, starting at the club house at 8:00am, with a club rifle available for those who don't own their own, coaching and assistance will be provided where needed.
