Where would we be without the mens district champion of champion play offs. First game was Dan Cookson playing Andrew Paskins . Andrew was unlucky to be defeated by Dan. 2nd game was Dan Cookson playing Joey Adulis, however Dan showed the boys his class and came out winning against Joey. Both of these games were very strong games with all 3 showing off their skills. Congratulations to Joey, Andrew and Dan on playing such great bowls. Good luck Dan in mackay in the coming Weeks.

2 ladies worked to gain there spots in the district champion of champion singles round today. Unfortunately there was only one winner for the districts and this year was Bec Pullen(Emerald). Bec played Clermont’s Paula Brun in what was a close game with Bec winning 25-19. Congratulations ladies. Great to see you out there representing your towns. Good luck Bec in mackay Zones. We are all cheering you on.

Congratulations to the ladies Clermont side participating in the ladies district pairs. Unfortunately they went down but we are very proud of you. Shina Maree Storer and Paula Brun
Clermont men came home with a win defeating emerald in the men’s pairs. Congratulations to Joey adulis and Tony Armstrong.

Wow another weekend away playing bowls this time playing in the men’s and ladies fours. This year the ladies had a fours team played Longreach for the first game of the champion of champion 4s . Unfortunately they went down to Longreach but did not disgrace themselves at all with an only a small margin loss.
The men’s 4s however were on fire taking the win against Longreach men’s and then over the Emerald boys. Was great to see a team who travels away so often to these events come out with a win and are now travelling to Mackay in the coming month to play in the Zone champion of champions against the Mackay district winning team.
Another big achievement for Clermont.
