Rosemore Calisthenics Dance College Inc. At Rosemore Calisthenics it is our mission to continue the growth of Calisthenics in Queensland Pupils lean between five and six routines throughout the year .

Calisthenics is an artistic sport that combines dancing, gymnastics, ballet and apparatus work. It promotes great team involvement in a fun team orientated environment. The word calisthenics comes from the Greek words “kallos” for beauty and “thenos” for strength. The components and requirements of the sport aim at achieving both of these attributes. Calisthenics is truly a unique Australian dance sport which involves a team of participants learning routines choreographed to music and presenting these routines on stage at competitions and concerts. It also fosters teamwork, friendship, social and emotional development as well as discipline. In addition to teamwork, participants can also compete in solo and duo items as well as have the opportunity to represent the State in the National Titles. We are bursting with pride to announce that our very own Laura has been named Coach of the Year! 👏✨

Having been involved in calisthenics for most of her life, Laura’s dedication shines in everything she does. Her contributions go far beyond her coaching role and her own teams, she genuinely celebrates every dancer at all levels across the entire community. As a powerful role model to her pupils, Laura constantly gives back by volunteering, mentoring, and supporting other coaches, clubs, and the wider calisthenics world.

As a club, we know firsthand the incredible value, heart, and passion she brings to our dancers and our Rosemore family every single day.💖💙
