Rosemore Calisthenics Dance College Inc.

At Rosemore Calisthenics it is our mission to continue the growth of Calisthenics in Queensland Pupils lean between five and six routines throughout the year .

Calisthenics is an artistic sport that combines dancing, gymnastics, ballet and apparatus work. It promotes great team involvement in a fun team orientated environment. The word calisthenics comes from the Greek words “kallos” for beauty and “thenos” for strength. The components and requirements of the sport aim at achieving both of these attributes. Calisthenics is truly a unique Australian dance

sport which involves a team of participants learning routines choreographed to music and presenting these routines on stage at competitions and concerts. It also fosters teamwork, friendship, social and emotional development as well as discipline. In addition to teamwork, participants can also compete in solo and duo items as well as have the opportunity to represent the State in the National Titles. What started as a few Subbies wanting a quick playdate after training today turned into the most wonderful impromptu family lunch! 🍗✨

We are slowly building up something so special here, and all of a sudden, 4 families found themselves gathered around one big table at Nando's. While the parents shared stories about global food and travel, the girls chatted away completely non-stop about all things cali while eating and coloring together. 🌏🤸‍♀️🎨

Trophies are wonderful, but watching our Rosemore community connect, laugh, and build lifelong friendships outside the studio floor is the ultimate reward. A huge thank you to our amazing families for making today so special, we truly have the best village! 💖💙

✨🏆 3 years ago, she stepped onto the floor for her first ever calisthenics class with big dreams and a lot of determination.

Fast forward to now, and just look at how far she has gone! 🧡 beautiful split and a confident stage presence don’t happen overnight.

They are the beautiful result of three years of showing up, working hard, and never giving up.

Your Rosemore family is so incredibly proud of the dancer you are and can’t wait to watch you keep shining! 💖💙
