Double the thrill at Wyong yesterday!

A fantastic result for the Brad Widdup stable, producing a classy training double with Flying Grey charging home under Christian Reith and Don’t Tell Polly saluting with Chad Schofield in the saddle. Both horses were presented in outstanding order and it showed on the track.

Massive credit to the entire team behind the scenes - the hard work from all the staff at home never goes unnoticed. Early mornings, long days, and the dedication to getting these horses to the races in peak condition is what makes results like this possible!!

Congratulations as well to the owners who put their trust in the stable - always special to see that support rewarded with a trip to the winner’s circle.

And a very special mention to Polly Harris with Don’t Tell Polly in her honour, making the victory even more meaningful. Moments like that are what make racing so special. This one was for you Harris!

Racing definitely comes with plenty of highs and lows but today’s win with the bonny Audrey’s Lane was definitely a memorable moment. Raced by the Duckworth family and friends we are so thrilled to have had Ian and Linda on track to enjoy the win. Cheers Alysha for the confident ride.

Today is an appreciation post, last night we received an email to thank one of our staff who was the only person that went and helped another stable that was having difficulty loading a 2YO at the races when many others simply walked straight past. Gryg has been with BWR for over six years and we couldn’t be prouder of his actions. His home country of Ukraine lives in constant conflict and he and his family have made Australia home and we are lucky to have them! Thankyou Gryg, actions speak louder than words.

Savvy Hallie absolutely impressed in the G2 Light Fingers Stakes at Randwick yesterday, taking out the 1,200m feature with a brilliant front-running ride from Nash Rawiller. She showed terrific speed and grit to lead all the way, stamping herself as one of the fillies to follow this autumn carnival.

Racing in the colours of BK Racing & Breeding, Savvy Hallie continues to repay the faith shown by her owners after being secured for $320,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and yesterday’s victory marked her second Group 2 success, further cementing her class at the elite level.

This result is a true credit to the entire stable team whose dedication, early mornings and meticulous care go into preparing her for days like this. Success on the track reflects the hard work behind the scenes, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved.

Huge congratulations to the team at BK Racing for their ongoing support and belief, and a very happy birthday to Brad Hunt - what a way to celebrate!

A dream becomes reality!

We’re thrilled to announce that Jedibeel has secured a coveted slot in The TAB Everest — the world’s richest turf race! A massive thank you to Mulberry Racing for believing in Jedibeel and Brads training ability. It is an honour to be given the slot, giving us this incredible opportunity.

From the team at Brad Widdup Racing, we couldn’t be prouder of Jedibeel’s journey — from the early mornings on the track to taking his place among Australia’s best sprinters. Now it’s time to climb this mountain, let’s make it one to remember!

💛🖤 RUBY FLYER 🖤💛

Ruby Flyer is back to his old self winning the Goulburn Cup in fashionable style. A perfect ride by Dylan Gibbons up the inside rail giving Ruby Flyer the chance to fly down the straight.

After a disappointing second up run the team have put in a lot of effort to make sure Ruby made a comeback and raced again like his usual self. The weather gods were in our favour giving him a heavy track like he loves.

He will be spoilt with his favourite treats 🥕🥕 and given lots of cuddles for his massive effort on Sunday. Congratulations to his connections, they are massive supporters to the stables and we are forever grateful to have them supporting us.
