What has your long weekend consisted of?
Whatever it is, we hope you've enjoyed it!
At the RCC our long weekend has consisted of preparations for the board meeting upcoming this week.
You might be wondering, Who is our board?
We are proud to present to you the 26/27 Rokeby Cricket Board:
President
- David Henderson
David brings a wealth of knowledge to the President position after returning to the role after a few years off. David returns with the passion to point our club in the right direction and ensure the club values are upheld the entire way!
Vice President's
- Jason Callinan and Adam Harris
Both Jason and Adam have been around the RCC for many years and have supported in many ways. Both Adam and Cal know what it takes to ensure the club runs smoothly on and off the field and have dedicated themselves to this role to ensure the job is done!
Secretary
- Kiarn Martelli
That's me! After 2x season's playing in the Womens division 2 team, I could see the gaps in where our club lacked real administrative support. With a skillset for the job I took on the role of secretary in the 25/26 season and have committed again for the 26/27 season to see our club thrive. This year I have swapped the gloves for a keyboard to do what is best for our club along side the rest of the board members and build relationships with sponsors and members of the club and community.
Treasurer's
- Kirsty Henderson and Tamieka Clarkson
Kirsty also returns along side her husband David to support the club in a time of need. Kirsty brings many years if experience to the role of treasurer and has a skillset to ensure the job is done superbly. Tamieka, a keen supporter and member of our club will shadow Kirsty to contribute to the treasurer role also. Tamieka is a keen and eager supported of the club and always tries to contribute to the club to ensure fair practice and opportunities for those within.
Canteen Managers
- Terry Wilmott and Angela Dillion
Terry returns to assist our club in the canteen and volunteer behind the scenes. Terry has been apart of the club for many years and has contributed many hours of voluntary service to the RCC. Angela joins our club this year to assist in the operations of the canteen and food handling. Angela brings with her many qualifications and skills within the food handling sector and runs her own baking business also! Angela is a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen and we can not wait to see what her and Terry come up with for you new canteen!
We also induct our general board members:
- Adrian (Peppers Painting & Decorating)
- Kim Doran
- Kimbra Petitt
- Brady Shuttler
- Shayne Wright
All of which have been apart of our club for many years and have supported in more ways than one and wish to continue to do so.
We extend our thanks to all of the above representative's who have committed themselves to the board roles required. Without you guys the RCC would not be able to function moving forward.
We can not wait to share with everyone what we have been working on behind the scenes and hope that you are as excited as we are.
GO BULLETS!
