⚫⚪ WEEKEND UPDATE – COMPETITION BYE ⚪⚫

This weekend we have the competition bye, giving everyone a well-earned chance to rest, recover and recharge before a big run home.

Don't forget our Black & White Ball is on Saturday night! If you haven't secured your ticket yet, now's the time. It promises to be a fantastic night celebrating our club, our people and everything we've achieved together so far this season.

While our senior football has the weekend off, our Men's Masters will still be in action on Sunday 28th, taking on the Lindisfarne Blues Masters at Anzac Park, with the first bounce at 11:30am. We'd love to see plenty of Magpie supporters there cheering the boys on.

Take the opportunity to enjoy the weekend, have a great night at the Ball, and get ready for an exciting challenge next weekend.

🏆 Next Weekend Our Senior Men return to Abbotsfield Park to take on New Norfolk in the annual Mulga Clayton Cup. It's always a special occasion as we honour one of the great servants of both clubs, Brendan "Mulga" Clayton.

Let's rest up this weekend and come back refreshed, ready to get behind the boys as we look to bring the Mulga Clayton Cup home.

🏉⚫⚪ WEEKEND WRAP-UP – ROUND RESULTS ⚪⚫🏉

Another big weekend of football for the Magpies, with our teams showing plenty of determination, resilience and spirit across all grades.

⭐ Senior Women continued their outstanding season with a dominant 73-point victory over Lindisfarne, running out winners 12.13 (85) to 2.0 (12). A fantastic team performance that keeps the momentum rolling.

🤝 U18 Boys fought out an exciting draw with Huonville, with both sides finishing on 6.3 (39). A great contest and a reward for the hard work the boys continue to put in.
💪 Senior Men battled hard against a strong Lindisfarne outfit. Despite going down by 35 points, there were plenty of positive signs and periods of competitive football to build on heading into next week.

⚫ Reserves Men showed plenty of effort throughout their match against Lindisfarne. While the result didn't go our way, the group continues to develop and compete strongly each week.

🖤 U18 Girls faced a quality Glenorchy side and never stopped working despite the scoreboard. The girls continue to gain valuable experience at a high level and should be proud of their effort.

👏 Masters Women fought right to the final siren in a tough contest against North Hobart, falling just seven points short in a spirited performance.

A huge thank you to our players, coaches, trainers, volunteers, supporters and sponsors who continue to make our club what it is.

Congratulations to all of our 200 Club winners! 🎉

Thank you once again to everyone who supported this important fundraiser for the club. Your support helps us continue to build and strengthen our football community both on and off the field.

It was another fantastic night, with great company, plenty of laughs, and some lucky winners taking home some great prizes.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the event. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

⚫⚪ Vale Steve Senior ⚪⚫

The Claremont Football Club extends its deepest sympathies to our Senior Men's Coach, Nathan Senior, and the entire Senior family on the passing of their beloved husband, father and grandfather, Steve Senior.

Steve was a highly respected member of the community whose kindness, character and presence touched many lives. His contribution to those around him and the relationships he built over the years will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with Nathan, his family and friends during this difficult time as they mourn the loss of a much-loved family man.

Rest in Peace, Steve. ❤️
