CLUB COACH
The St Annes Cricket Club is
seeking expressions of interest from candidates who may be willing to join our Club in our quest for excellence
and premiership success for the 2026/27 season by undertaking the role of Club Coach.
The primary role of the Club Coach will be to oversee the entire senior coaching program whilst influence in the junior players. The skills and key roles for this position are:
Skills Required
* Demonstrate success in player development.
* Minimum Cricket Australia Level 1 Coaching qualification or equivalent and a desire to work towards a Level 2 qualification.
* Demonstrate a successful track record in leading and embedding a positive cultural change within a Club and across multiple teams.
* A clear and honest communicator, with a willingness to have tough conversations and takes on board constructive feedback.
* Effective time management, program planning and implementation skills.
* Ability to motivate, influence and support individuals and teams towards winning ways.
* Ability to work within a team and to contribute to the overall success of the teams and a Club as a whole.
* Commitment to keeping up to date with innovative coaching techniques and to proactively share knowledge with assistant coaches.
* A positive and calm approach under pressure.
* Current working with children’s card
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Accountable for developing and implementing a whole of club coaching strategy with clear expectations for all coaching staff, and players across each grade, to achieve sustainable success in all formats of the game.
* Responsible for establishing and reviewing individual player and coaching development plans, including end of season reviews.
* Lead all (pre- and in-season) club training sessions and oversee game day preparations. Ensure each team on game day has a member of the coaching staff allocated to assist in warm ups prior to commencement of matches and between innings (where necessary).
* Active in team selections with the Chairman of Selectors and work alongside senior captains and assistant coaches
* Take an active lead in recruitment/list management.
* Reports to Committee and attend committee meetings as determined.
