DISC Velodrome in Thornbury features a 250 metre timber indoor track and 2,000 SQ/M of infield floor space.

Clubs and User Groups book the track weekly for training and competition including a Learn to Ride session most Sundays.

Are you looking for a program that might help develop race skills for VICS?

The Blackburn Cycling Club hosts a successful Let's Race Program. This is aimed specifically for junior riders and is a fun and interactive learning program for kids who are already riding their bikes and want to gain more skills, knowledge and confidence to take the next step into racing safely in local junior races.

What's included:
Six sessions where you will learn the skills needed to start racing in upcoming junior events and school racing. Use of club track bike and receive fresh bottle of water.
Who's this for?
Boys and girls aged 7 to 14 years
Where and when?
Location: East Burwood Reserve Velodrome, 300 Burwood Hwy, Burwood East.

Every Thursday, 10th October 2019 – 26th March 2020 (except 26/12/19 – 9/01/20)

Every Saturday, 12th October 2019 – 28th March 2020 (except 28/12/19 – 4/01/20)

Provisional grading for the VICS Summer Series is now online. Please take a look at where you (or your child) is placed and if there are any concerns please contact us on [email protected].

Grading has been based on last weeks time trial, previous results and knowledge passed on from teachers and parents.

Please note: these are subject to change as entries closed last night.

Due to a double booking at Casey Fields this weekend. Racing for round one of VICS Summer has been changed from a 9am start to a 1pm start. Registration will open at midday.
