UBX delivers a unique mix of boxing and strength training across a 12 round circuit: 6 rounds of boxing bagwork or padwork with a coach, and 6 rounds involving a combination of functional strength, cardio and conditioning movements. We offer the ultimate flexibility so you can get the most out of your membership. Our flexible start times mean you don’t have to book ahead, plus you can mix up your workouts to include 1-on-1 support during Coached Hours, independent training during Extended Access or workout anytime, anywhere with our On Demand app. Try us out with a FREE WORKOUT via our website.

DANNY'S TIPS // "Evations & Counters"

It takes time and practise to learn how to intuitively add Evasions and Counters into your boxing.

Evasions can include: slips, rolls, step-backs, step-outs, pivots and more.

A counter is the punch you throw immediately after an evasion - imagine you dodge your opponent's punch and counter with a jab, cross, rip or uppercut.

When weaving evasions into your combinations, it's important to maintain the correct footwork and balance to ensure power and effectiveness in your counter
