Baseball SA announces the new competition structure for season 2021/22.
Women's Division 1 will be played on Sundays whilst Women's Divisions 2 and 3 will remain on Friday nights.

CAPPS MEDAL || While the current COVID-19 situation no longer allows for large gatherings, it's important to remember the fantastic season we've had and the achievements of our players.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST || We are seeking expressions of interest for the position of Executive Officer (EO) for the 2020 SA Open Women's State Team.

The EO is responsible for a variety of duties, but generally the health and well-being pf the players.

Communicating with the Head Coach, the Executive Officer will have the responsibility of all off field activities associated with the team. The EO will also act as a liaison between coaches, parents and players.

Other major responsibilities are:
- Help with the distribution of uniforms
- Establish a good rapport with parents and players
- Circulation of documents
- Prepare and manage team budget
- Communicate with Baseball Australia tournament officials
- Liaison with Baseball SA
- Seek medical support when required
- Abide by Baseball SA’s and Australia’s Coach Code of Conduct, Member Protection Policy and Social Media Policy
- Prepare and plan meals
- Coordinate off field activities

Join us at West Beach from 5:45pm for Hit Away and 7pm for the All-Stars game.

With the women on the diamond and the ABLCS game one being live streamed in the clubrooms - we're in for a great night of baseball!

WOMEN’S ALL-STAR | Think you have what it takes to ground announce during a game? Then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for a new voice (or duo) (must be involved with women's baseball in SA), to be on the PA during the "Hit Away" curtain raiser next Friday night, along with an experienced person for the All-Star game.

Get in touch with Rowena or Laura at the Baseball SA office ASAP if you want to be involved with the PA or production team.

YOUTH WOMEN'S STATE TEAM | Are you wanting to try out for SA's first representative team in the Australian Youth Women's Championships? Here's your chance!

Not only are coaching staff selecting from our Super Girls League players, but we invite anyone interested and eligible to trial.

Here's some important dates for your diary:
29 January - Super Girls League Training
3 February - State Team Trial Night
5 February - Super Girls League Games
10 February - State Team Trial Night
12 February - Super Girls League Games
17 February - State Team Trial Night (if needed)

All trials being held at West Beach, 6-8pm

WOMEN’S ALL-STAR | Have you ever wanted to try your skills at PA announcing during a game? If you are involved with women’s baseball in SA and think you have what it takes - we want to hear from you!

WOMEN'S HIT AWAY | The roster announcements continue with our Division 2 Hit Away teams!

Rules for this game will be in line with the local playing rules & conditions, with the exception of:
- Everyone bats
- Every batter starts with a 1 Ball : 1 Strike count
- Batting Side will start with a runner on First and Second Base for each innings. For the First Innings, the last two named batters go to First and Second, and for every innings thereafter, the last two players who appeared at the plate go to First and Second base.
- Pitch Count will be 80 pitches or 9 outs, whichever comes first.
- Re-entry rule is allowed.
- Game will only play for 60 minutes, so only 3 warm up pitches in between innings

It's going to be a great night so make sure you lock Friday 7 February in your calendar!
