I’ve seen kids gain confidence in tackling from these two emphasis. Hard contact after technique and wrestling battles. Finish them to the ground by wrestling them to the ground or chop low by pulling in the legs and using head for assistance too.

I’ve sent kids home 5mins into the class because they muck around. First is a warning, second is the β€˜follow through’ with the consequences and the harshest consequences is expelling them from the program. Makes it clear to the whole class what the standard is. Focused and serious athletes get results.
