Friendly, fun, accessible and inclusive tennis programs for players of all ages and levels of ability at five locations in the City of Sydney, Australia. We offer tennis court hire, tennis coaching, competitions and social tennis in Surry Hills, Glebe, Alexandria, Beaconsfield and Rosebery. Our Prince Alfred Tennis Courts in Surry Hills has a pro-shop with racquet re-stringing, the latest Babolat,

Wilson and Head racquets for sale as well as tennis balls. We are also the home courts of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Tennis Club and Elite Tennis Team. You might even see a WTA or ATP tour player on a court next to you! Being within walking distance of the CBD and other local universities such as the University of Sydney gives our courts a uniquely international and diverse cultural mix of players. City Community Tennis is managed by Jensen’s Tennis, a family owned small business originally established by Director Pat Jensen's father Eddie in the 1930s. Winner of two 2022 Tennis NSW Awards for Best Operator (Pat Jensen) and Most Outstanding Inclusion Initiative (Adaptive Tennis Hub). You do not have to be a member to play at City Community Tennis but we offer a frequent player membership discount program to keep tennis affordable for the community. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Serving Pride event and helped celebrate Pride Month on and off the court! πŸ’œ

From Learn to Play and Squad Training to Doubles and Hit the Target, there was something for everyone. It was amazing to see so many players getting involved, making connections, and sharing their love of tennis in such a fun and welcoming environment.

A massive shout-out to our incredible coaches for bringing the energy all day long πŸ‘πŸŽΎ

Thank you to Pride Cup for delivering a fantastic workshop and helping us continue important conversations around inclusion in sport. 🌈

Whether you're completely new to tennis or a more experienced player, everyone is welcome. Run by professional coaches, this event will tennis activities for all levels including squad training for more advanced players, social doubles and team-based match play in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment to celebrate Pride Month and our LGBTQiA community.

Improve skills, meet new people, enjoy friendly competition and celebrate diversity both on and off the court! Light refreshments included. Schedule for the day (weather permitting):

Good luck to City Community Tennis blind and low vision players Jason, Karen, Mick, and Samira competing at the NSW Blind and Low Vision Tournament this weekend at Sydney Olympic Park.

The players are coached by Sean, and this will be Jason’s very first tournament.

Spectators are welcome to watch on Sunday and Monday, and entry is free

Division 2 of our Winter Weeknight Competition kicked off this week at Prince Alfred Park!

A big welcome to all new players and welcome back to our returning competitors. With players from a wide range of levels and backgrounds, Division 2 continues to be one of the best ways to enjoy competitive tennis in a friendly and social environment.

Over the next 9 weeks, our players will battle it out for ladder positions, finals spots, and of course, a little bragging rights along the way. πŸ˜„
