Burwood is buzzing with talent this Lunar New Year! 🎉 Across five stages, incredible artists will bring music, dance, and culture to life. One of these artists is the amazing Jin Wu Koon, masters of lion and dragon dance since 1977. Their performances include the eye-dotting ceremony, a vital ritual that awakens a brand new lion, transforming it into an auspicious creature that brings good luck, health, and prosperity. Using red paint to dot the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body, the lion comes to life, ready to scare away evil spirits.

Join us on Saturday 21 February 2026 from 5pm to 10pm for a celebration of community and tradition you won’t want to miss! ✨
