TO All former members of the Isis Bowls Club Inc. it saddens me to inform you that Kevin Murphy has passed away.
Kevin a Club Campion over the years in many disciplines will be laid to rest at the childers lawn cemetery after a service at the Childers Catholic Church commencing 10.00am this Thursday 31st April.
Bowlers who are attending requested to wear full bowls Uniform if at all possible and form a Guard of Honour at the Cemetery. Thank you.

Congratulations to Howard (Yogi) Best and Johnno Martin on winning the men's Pairs Championship this afternoon over Grant Gibson and Chris Hooper. It was very trying conditions with nearly gale force winds and occasional short sharp showers.
Good luck Yogi and Johnno in the first round of the Champion of Champions at the Waves Bowls Club this Saturday at 9.00am.

Champion of Champions Singles results from Woodgate Bowls Club.

Unfortunately for Chris Hooper after leading 14-13 halfway through the match he got run down 25-14 by Mark Mizzi from Burnett.

Tim Smith from The Waves Bowls club won a tight one against Liam Kronk from Moore Park Beach 25-23.

The final is currently underway.

Well done to Chris and great to see all the supporters from the Isis Bowls Club.

First two rounds of the Bundaberg District
Champion of Champions Singles played today at Burnett Bowls Club.

Our own Chris Hooper is through to the Semi Finals tomorrow at Woodgate Bowls Club after winning his Quarter Final this afternoon against Peter Duffy from Gin Gin 27-10.
He plays Mark Mizzi from Burnett Bowls Club at 10:00am.

Get out there and support him!

The second Semi Final of the Men's A grade Pairs was played yesterday.

Dave Coomber + Rex Clements
VS
John Martin + Yogi Best

Johno and Yogi jumped out to of the gates quickly going to an 8-0 lead before Dave and Rex came back to lead 10-9 half way through.

Was a close game most of the way through before Johno and Yogi pulled away at the end winning 26-16.

Congratulations to all for a good game.

Congratulations to Grant Gibson and Chris Hooper making it through to the Final of the Men's A grade Pairs.
Nathan Bock and Dan Prestage came out of the blocks fast, playing brilliantly, but in the end it was the consistency of Grant and Chris that got them home 22-12.
A great game by all!

Our Champion of Champions Fours had a good win yesterday vs Gin Gin and are playing Bargara in the Semi Final this morning from 9am at Bundaberg Bowls Club.
