Little Athletics NSW and Athletics NSW have recently been communicating a number of changes for the 2024/2025 Season. To simplify this and in the lead up to our season kick off below are some of the key changes:

๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ด๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—”๐—ด๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€

The below table outlines what age groups your child will participate in as part of the 2024/2025

๐—˜๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€

These and the requirements for progress to Zone, Regional and State are detailed below:

๐˜๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฅ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด
- Maximum hurdle height for Friday night competition will remain unchanged at 76cm.
- At Zone Championships will all be run with hurdles at a maximum of 76cm.
- Hurdle clinics will be conducted in all regions following the Zone Championships for any athlete that has qualified for Region in a hurdle event that has a higher height (e.g they run a 76cm hurdle at Zone and need to run a 84cm hurdle at Region).

- U14-U18 athletes will compete at Zone and Region Championships in 1500m walks at Zone level, then proceed to full specifications at State
