Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club is a football (soccer) club from Cheltenham, Victoria, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The club was formed in 1986 by the Greek Cypriot community and currently play in the Victorian NPL Top Division. The club pushed on from there claiming top spot at the end of the 2016 season as well as taking home their first Dockerty Cup trophy with victory over Green Gu

lly in the final. Bentleigh have made it deep into the FFA Cup on two occasions. The Semi-Finals in 2014 and the Quarter Finals in 2016, hosting both Perth Glory and Melbourne Victory. Bentleigh are one of six state league teams to have eliminated an A-League team in the FFA Cup. Bentleigh secured its second NPL Championship in three years when it beat Heidelberg United 2-1 after extra time in the Grand Final. Current Coach Nick Tolios led the Greens to a win over Avondale in the NPL Victoria Grand Final at AAMI Park to make it three championships in five years for the Cheltenham-based club.

Bentleigh Greens Senior Coaching Update

Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club advises that the club has made the decision to part ways with Senior Coach Adam Piddick, effective immediately.

Adam took on the role at a challenging point in the club’s season and made a significant contribution during his time in charge. His work helped lift the standards across the senior program and gave Bentleigh Greens its strongest opportunity to remain in the top tier of Victorian football.

The club acknowledges Adam’s commitment and professionalism throughout his tenure and thanks him for his contribution to Bentleigh Greens.

The club has commenced work on identifying the right person to lead our senior program moving forward. A number of options are currently being considered, with the club focused on appointing a coach who aligns with the club’s ambitions, standards and long-term direction.

Bentleigh Greens SC is inviting Expressions of Interest for the position of Technical Director, responsible for overseeing football operations within our BYVPL Division 1 program. This role requires a suitably qualified and experienced football professional capable of leading player development pathways, establishing coaching standards, and ensuring the long-term growth of our youth program.

Candidates should possess a proven track record in technical leadership within football, along with strong communication and organisational skills.

What a season for our 17/18 Community Girls.

The girls have gone undefeated all season, scored more than 100 goals and have now been crowned league champions.

An outstanding achievement that reflects the commitment, teamwork and effort shown by the players throughout the season, supported by their coaches and families every step of the way.

Bentleigh Greens NPL Boys – Technical Director

Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club wishes to announce that Kimon Taliadoros will step down from his position as Technical Director of our NPL Boys program at the conclusion of the current season.

Following discussions regarding the continuation of the role, Kimon has decided not to accept an extension to his current agreement. We respect his decision and thank him for his commitment and contribution to Bentleigh Greens.

Kimon leaves the role having played an important part in the development of our NPL Boys program, with one of the significant highlights being the successful promotion of our NPL Boys program to Division 1. This achievement reflects the hard work of our players, coaches and football staff, and Kimon deserves recognition for the role he has played in helping guide the program through this period.

The club sincerely thanks Kimon for his time, professionalism and contribution to the continued development of our young players and NPL Boys program.

Bentleigh Greens has already commenced work on identifying and recruiting the next Technical Director to lead our NPL Boys program into its next chapter. We are inviting suitably experienced and qualified individuals who are interested in the position to contact the club and express their interest.

We wish Kimon and his family all the very best for the future and thank him for his service to Bentleigh Greens.

What a season! Our Junior Boys have topped the table and secured PROMOTION to Boys Victorian Youth Premier League 1 (BVYPL1) for 2027!

Under Football Victoria's new whole-of-club structure, promotion is earned across every age group — U13 through U18 — as one club. That makes this achievement a true reflection of the depth, talent and hard work right across our junior program.

On behalf of myself and my family, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for your incredibly generous donations and for supporting me throughout my treatment journey.

A special thank you to Bentleigh Greens for making all of this possible. Your kindness and support mean so much to us.

Today our Under 16s secured the YPL2 League Championship and, with it, club promotion to YPL1 to across the ages groups for the 2027 season! 🏆👏
