From our committee members to our entire Mongrel family, thank you for being part of another incredible season. Whether you've been with the club for years or this was your very first season, we have loved having every single one of you on board.

The commitment, passion, and dedication shown by all our members throughout the season is what makes our club so special. From early morning starts and long days on the field to volunteering behind the scenes, every contribution helped our club stand out in so many ways.

A huge congratulations to all of our award winners. Your achievements are a testament to the hard work you've put in throughout the season. To those who may not have taken home an award, your efforts and commitment have not gone unnoticedβ€”you are just as important to the success of this club.

Our very own social media superstar πŸ–€πŸ’›

Kim has been nothing short of incredible for our club this season. Not only has she grown our Facebook presence exponentially, but she has been one of our biggest cheerleaders both on and off the field.

If there’s a game on, you can guarantee Kim is there β€” juniors in the morning, supporting not only her own two kids but cheering on every player like they’re her own. Then backing it up in the afternoon for seniors, camera in hand, capturing it all.

From documenting milestones, snapping photos and videos, to grabbing those spontaneous moments and chats with players and captains β€” Kim brings our club to life. If you looked at her camera roll, we’re pretty sure 75% of it belongs to cricket this season!

Even now, she’s still working behind the scenes editing photos from presentation. All of this, purely as a volunteer, with nothing to gain β€” just genuine love and support for the club.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do, Kim πŸ–€πŸ’›

The Howell Family Best & Fairest Award recognises a player who has consistently displayed outstanding sportsmanship, commitment, respect, and performance throughout the season. Congratulations to Liam Beckett on a well-deserved achievement.

Our Clubman Awards celebrate those who go above and beyond for the club, both on and off the field. These individuals embody the spirit of the Mongrel family through their dedication, teamwork, and willingness to help wherever needed.

Cassie is the woman behind all the paperwork, organisation, and administration that keeps our club running smoothly. Between juggling her two boys, work, and the demands of everyday life, she still dedicates countless hoursβ€”both during the season and throughout the off-seasonβ€”ensuring everything is up to date, compliant, and ready for the seasons ahead.

Her commitment, hard work, and dedication often happen behind the scenes, but they never go unnoticed. The time and effort she invests into our club help create opportunities for every player and contribute to the strong community we are proud to call family.
