🥈 PPA Melbourne – Men’s Doubles 50+

Last weekend I teamed up with Jay McLean at PPA Melbourne, where we finished with the silver medal.

We took the opening game of the final 11–8 before Australia's top ranked 50+ player Daryl White and former MLP / NPL player David Richardson came back to win the next two, 11–3 and 11–7.

Most people know me as the Director of Pickleball at Pickle Park Caulfield, but I still love getting out there and competing whenever I can. It keeps me learning, keeps me challenged, and gives me experiences I can bring back to our players and programs.

Congratulations to all of the Pickle Park members who competed in tournaments over the past few weekends. It is great to see so many of our community out on court and achieving some fantastic results. 👏💚

🥇 GOLD FOR PICKLEPARK! 🥇

Congratulations to our first-ever PicklePark Intermediate Social Sessions Gold Medallists!

Toni Carlstrom and Lucy Chait dominated the 60+ Women’s Doubles at the Ocean Grove Classic, bringing home 🥇 GOLD in their very first official pickleball tournament.

What makes this even more special is that they started their tournament journey through our Intermediate Social Sessions. Seeing players build their confidence, take the next step into competition, and achieve success like this is exactly what PicklePark is all about.

Congratulations, Toni and Lucy! We couldn’t be prouder.
