It is that time of year again, and of course this brings lots of emotions for young athletes.

The best advice I have heard given to young players and parents is that development is not linear. It's met with many challenges and obstacles along the way.

Remaining consistent and focusing on your own journey is critical.

At PAFA we support pathways and creating opportunities at the right time for players. The long term process to achieving success must come with perseverance, patience and a growth mindset.

Trial 2 is here for our Summer and Winter IFA Squads!

Trial Date - Friday 28th August 2026.
5.15pm-6.30pm : U11s - U13s
6.30pm-8pm : U14s

Limited spots available for our IFA Summer Squads.
U11s & U12s - 1 position
U13s - 3 positions
U14s - 1 position

All age groups remain considered for our Winter IFA Squads.

Train on Monday and Friday nights and play Sunday games this Summer. Training is held in Liverpool and games are played at WSW Blacktown.

Register your interest as soon as possible to secure your spot in our Full Time IFA Squads this Summer and Winter. These spots are expected to fill quickly.

At PAFA, you can expect a serious-fun environment, with quality coaching and a player centred approach to development. IFA remains the benchmark in academy Football, and a great opportunity to compete in a fantastic environment.

Congratulations to coach and coach mentor Lawrence on completing his Pro Diploma.

Lawrence is currently undertaking work the the Hong Kong national teams, continuing to gain valuable experience before his return.

Our talented U13s group has room for one more player this season. Games are played on Sunday mornings at Wanderers Football Park, and training is held in Liverpool on Friday nights.

Team unity and lots of learning. Values and Football learning go hand in hand. Day 1 for our U12s and U13s was a great learning experience with some awesome football and talent on display.
It's a privilege for us to be a part of and recognised for our dedication to our players.
