Jack Williamson manages to extract every little bit of performance out of the W24 in the Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series.
The family-run team puts in a huge effort to be part of the series and sometimes the effort does not match the results, but this team kicks on, pushing as hard as it can.
Williamson finished 11th overall in the series championship, on the back of six top 10s.
He started off with a DNF in Rd1, before taking a pair of 12ths in the next two rounds, and then an 8th (the first of those top 10s) in Rd4.
The venture south was successful, starting 13th and finishing 6th in the feature race there.
In the star-studded High Limit International: Perth finale on December 30, Williamson moved up from 20th to 16th.
On February 7 he went from 15th to 10th and on February 14, Williamson put in a huge run from 27th to 15th.
Family commitments meant the team was unable to contest the first round of the Geraldton double header, but they made the long haul for night two, posting a 15th.
The season rounded out with a 7th on March 7 and an 8th in Kalgoorlie, before engine issues sidelined the team in hot laps at the series grand final in early April.
Thanks for being part of the series Jack!
