Grandparents and/or grandfiiends SwimSAFER Week is coming up soon! Please invite your family and friends to come watch your child's lessons as well as learn some vital safety tips for our 55 and over age group! All visitors will receive a coffee voucher from Tuckers and She Oaks! You can't beat that!

On Saturday, little Richie LOVES hanging out in the water and can float for a LONG time!! We love seeing our little ones relaxed and at 'one with the water'!! They are teaching themselves a good body position - just like our Olympians! Richie is already on his way to great swimming!

The Honour Board is up and we are so proud of all of swimmers and their results! A big thank you to Hayley for her hard work in putting together all the results!! Also a big well done to all our teachers and coaches for teaching the good technique that helps make these great results happen! Well done everyone!

A massive congratulations to our swimmers of the month Bowie, Banjo, Gilbert, Olivia, Vinnie, Frankie, June and Ivie.
These swimmers have done incredible in class, some moved up classes and are all enjoying their swimming lessons 💙

We’ll be closed on Monday 8 June for the King’s Birthday public holiday.
If your child has a Monday lesson, you have not been charged, and no makeup tokens will be generated.
If you have plans for the long weekend, and your child will miss their Friday or Saturday lesson, please make sure to let us know.

After sixteen and a half years of teaching swimming to young children at the Casuarina pool (she was there before Billabong was!), Miss Kellie has decided to use her Saturdays to persue some of her other interest and hobbies. Kellie has been with Billabong for many of those years, inspiring and motivating children with her songs and great ability to encourage them to love the water and swim. Today was a celebration of her love of teaching children. We wish Kellie all the best and we know many of your parents and children will miss her greatly!!

Great News!

Due to popular demand, we are looking into opening a weekday morning Mako Squad.

While we often get asked about this, there are a lot of variables that have to come together to make it feasible, so we’re starting by looking for expressions of interest.

This is what a weekday morning squad would look like:

Wednesday mornings 6:30am-7:30am with Alex
Only open to ‘full’ squad swimmers (i.e. not those doing 1 Swordfish + 1 Mako)
It would be included in the $90 monthly fees

We will need a minimum of 6 confirmed swimmers before opening the class – so if you’re keen, get your EOI in ASAP!
