We just had to post a few photos of past slumber parties, both at the Tweed pool and at Casuarina. These were for the Swordfish and Makos swimmers as a reward for swimming through the winter! Lots of fun and great memories were made!! The history of this is that John and Judy used to have slumber parties WAY back into the late 1970's for their age group teams both in California and in Florida. It was a tradition they carried over for many years with Billabong!! Judy remembers in Santa Barbara that she took the group to the monastery near her house where the slumber was being held at about 11:00 at night to play freeze tag on the monastery lawn. It woke up the monks and when they came to the window and asked what the kids were doing, Judy told them and when the monks realised that they were creating no harm. They blessed them and said to keep on playing!!
