Colonial First State Bank took their team retreat to the next level at the Surfing Australia High Performance Centre.

Over three days, the group stayed onsite in our premium accommodation, combining business strategy, leadership development and world-class surf experiences.

Between conference room sessions and fully catered meals, the team made the most of the HPC’s elite facilities, including strength, mobility and conditioning sessions inside the Olympic-recognised training centre.

They hit the water for jet ski-assisted surf sessions led by 2024 Australian Coach of the Year and WSL Championship Tour coach , tested the HPC demo board range, and stepped inside the same high-performance environment used by Australia’s best surfers.

One of the standout moments of the retreat was a keynote session with Olympic Bronze Medallist , who then joined the group in the water for a surf session afterwards.

A weekend for women ready to keep building confidence in the water.

Join us at the HPC for the All Women’s Progression Surf Camp, 5–6 September.

Designed for intermediate surfers who are confidently catching and riding waves, comfortable paddling out the back in 3ft surf, and ready to refine manoeuvres like cutbacks, carves and floaters.

The Surfing Australia High Performance Centre was proud to host the Ipswich Grammar School Rugby Team for an incredible week-long training camp.

Across the week, the group made full use of our world-class facilities — including the Olympic training centre, on-site accommodation and catering, recovery zones with ice baths and saunas, and neighbouring rugby fields.
