This week was going to be a study of kata dori (shoulder grab), but uncle Dan has other plans.

Kata dori is a fascinating attack, providing a multitude of opportunities for control techniques.

This week's classes are focused on yokomen uchi attacks.

We'll be looking at timing and distance in the ex*****on of our counter.

We're resuming classes as from this coming Saturday, 23 January, at the dojo. This will be a contact class.

9am start.

From there, we'll run Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
