NEW CARPARK ARRANGEMENTS
At this point I’d like to thank our friendly neighbours from the Hills District Tennis Association who will be accommodating most of our parking over this period. We ask that all our patrons are mindful that we’re using someone else’s facilities for an extended period and we ask that their property is respected.
Please note the following arrangements which will be in place for the next 6 – 8 months:
• A small area of our carpark (labelled Basketball Carpark on the map below) will still be in use.
• Continuing past Hills Sports Stadium, the area immediately adjacent to the disabled bays has been set aside for staff parking.
• Past the boom gates, we will be utilising carparks labelled Carpark 1, Carpark 2 and around the corner and up the hill, Carpark 3.
• An area adjacent to the clubhouse in the top carpark has been set aside and labelled Tennis Carpark.
To ensure patron safety and minimise inconvenience we ask that all patrons please adhere to the following:
• Please maintain an appropriate speed through all carparks and roadways.
• Please do not park vehicles on roadways.
• Please do not park others in. Please check before leaving your vehicle.
• Please obey parking signs both permanent and temporary. In the interest of safety, it is likely that Council will enforce the permanent parking signs.
• Please do not park in disabled bay unless you have the appropriate permit.
* A kiss & drop zone is located near the front entrance. Please do not use the disabled parking as a turning back. Go up to carpark 1, 2 or 3 to turnaround.
As we said above, very exciting times ahead for Basketball in the Hills area. We trust you’ll work with us to keep disruption to minimum during the construction period.
