We recently hosted our Living Choice Carnival, with a fantastic 28 teams taking to the greens for a great day of bowls.

We welcomed teams from Beecroft, Wenty Leagues, Merrylands, Pittwater, Toongabbie, West Pennant Hills, Penrith, Pennant Hills, Dural, North Epping, St Ives and The Hills, along with a great showing from our Castle Hill Bowling Club locals.

A big thank you to our sponsor, Living Choice, for their ongoing support of our club and bowls. Living Choice Glenhaven kindly donated a hamper to be raffled off alongside the prize money.

Nominations are open for the 2026 Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Board Election.

Eligible Category 1 and Category 2 members who attended one of the compulsory Pre-Nomination Workshops are invited to nominate for one of three Director positions on the Castle Hill RSL Club Ltd. Board of Directors.

Candidates must also meet all requirements of the Club’s Constitution and Board Eligibility Framework, including having been a Category 1 or Category 2 member for at least five consecutive years.

📅 Nominations close at 4pm, Monday 14 September 2026.

Our members are loving the all-weather green, enjoying more time on the greens and friendly competition.

This Homelessness Week (3–9 August), CHRG is proud to be supporting Parramatta Mission's Emergency Hamper Drive, helping provide essential items to people in our community experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

We're inviting our community to join us by donating a few everyday essentials. Throughout the week, donation boxes will be available in the foyers of all CHRG venues.

Most needed items include:

🛒 Food
• Long life milk
• Instant noodles
• Pasta & pasta sauce
• Cereal
• Fruit cups

🧼 Toiletries
• Soap
• Toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Travel-size shampoo & conditioner
• Deodorant

🧦 Clothing
• New socks (all sizes)
• New underwear (all sizes)

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Parramatta Mission provide emergency hampers to individuals and families facing hardship across Western Sydney.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference in our local community.

We recently hosted another Lunge Club event, welcoming back familiar faces and introducing new participants to our club.

With 14 women joining us for the session, it was a great evening of learning the basics, enjoying some friendly competition and connecting with others.

Run in partnership with Bowls NSW, Lunge Club continues to be a fantastic way to introduce more women to the sport.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event another success! 👏

The 2026 Flo Willcox Day was another fantastic success, with an incredible turnout bringing together clubs from across the region and beyond for a great day of bowls.

A huge thank you to Merrylands, NBC Sports, North Epping, Pennant Hills, The Hills District, Wenty Leagues, Windsor, Glenbrook, St Johns Park and Denistone for joining us and helping make the day so special.

Another great Junior Learn to Bowl Clinic!👏

We had a fantastic morning on the greens today, with plenty of juniors giving bowls a go, learning new skills and having fun.
