Anyone else up for retirement ? 🫠

Here are some ways to juggle both of your full time jobs - work and gym

1. Build a routine that you can stick to and will actually follow
2. Keep things realistic - do you really need a 2 hour workout after a 9 hour work day? Or could you just do a 45min- 1 hour workout before/after work
3. Meal prep meals so you don’t get stuck cooking when you get home
4. Plan your sessions ahead of time - this ensures you are walking into the gym and getting it done instead of procrastinating
5. Be flexible - not all or nothing - showing up to the gym is better than not showing up at all

MACRONUTRIENTS
- The 3 main types of nutrients your body needs in large amounts :

CARBS : Provides the body with quick and accessible energy. They are the primary fuel source, especially for your brain and during exercise
Examples : oats, rice, potatoes, pasta and bread

FATS : Supports long term energy storage, helps absorb certain vitamins and they are important for hormone production and cell health
Examples : avocados, nuts, seeds, butter, coconut oil

PROTEIN : Used to build and repair muscles and tissues
Examples : eggs, greek yoghurt, milk, lentils, lean meats and poultry

Macros are what make up the calories in your food and each type has a different role in keeping your body functioning properly.
