We dont venture to far from home for a normal fishing outing weekend but travel a little further for long weekends, camping is also an option for all our outings.

Great weekend spent at Pottsville south for our June closed outing. We were very appreciative for the great weather we had. For this outing our members weighed in 20 fish 🐟

APRIL CLOSED OUTING

Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side this weekend with so much rain around it did not stop our fellow fishing man/woman for weighing 17 fish.
For those that did not fish we spent our time chatting over board games and cards. Great weekend had by all.

South Ballina Nature Resort is a great place to camp.

We are having a BBQ this Saturday 18th April out the front of Casino DIY
We will be set up whilst the shop is open or until we sell out.

Pop down and see us, say Hi, grab yourself a snag or Bacon and Egg roll.

We will also have raffle tickets available for our Carp Muster.

We have changed a couple of categories around for the Aussie Junior Fishing Classic.

14 species categories

2 species are exclusive to 13-17yr age group.
Jewfish/Mulloway
Yellowtail Kingfish

Most fish - removed
Most species - 1 prize for all age groups combined.

Other categories:
Crabs
Rubbish

Nightly random draws - (not available to all states - due to state laws)
