Inspire Netball Group Our mission is to INSPIRE Excellence in every Coach, every Player and every Leader. We don’t want to just work in netball, we want to help TRANSFORM netball.

Inspire Netball Group are specialists in all elements of netball development, and we are genuinely committed to growing and enhancing the sport of netball. To that end, we are active and innovating across every aspect of the game—inspiring and resourcing coaches, players, umpires, and leaders—with an equal focus on the development and participation of boys and girls in our great sport. Our amazing

team carry’s almost 100 years of combined knowledge and experience in netball working at the grass roots right through to the elite level as players, umpires, coaches, and leaders. We know that community sport is more than just the success you see on game day. Team Inspire is built on 4 key pillars: Community, Elite, Passionate and Innovative and it is through these pillars that we apply a person centred approach to every individual we work with. Our approach with netball clubs, associations, and leagues is from start to finish. This allows us to take an individual approach to ensure the discussion, planning and implementation of our programs address the goals and outcomes for everyone involved. We believe this holistic approach is what sets us apart from other providers, and what will enable us to become the leading company in netball development. OUR DIRECTORS:

GREG HEINRICH

Greg is the current 19U Head Coach of the VCNA Ariels competing in the Victorian Netball League. Greg has an extensive background of competing as an Elite Netballer and was part of the Australian Mens Sonix Netball Team that cemented their spot in the World Mens Netball Rankings as #1 after winning Gold at the 2013 World Mens and Mixed Netball Championships in South Africa. Greg has played a pivotal role in Mens Netball for VIC, WA and Australia over the past 10+ years and has achieved the Ultimate in Mens Netball winning 5 National Titles and 2 World Titles. JADE HEINRICH

Jade is the current Head Coach and Championship Coach for VCNA Ariels in the VNL. She was also the Assistant Coach of the Victorian 17 Under State Team in 2022. She has previously been the Head Coach of the Wilson Storage Southern Saints. She was also the Assistant Coach to the Victorian State Under 19 Netball team in 2016 and is completing her Elite Level Coaching Accreditation. Jade has competed in the Championship grade of the VNL for the past 7 years and is a true leader and inspiration to the Netball Community. Jade undertakes regular work for Netball Victoria running coaching courses as well as Develop a Diamond Seminars.

If you live in the Fawkner area and you are interested in becoming an umpire, you can join our Umpire Academy program in partnership with Merri-bek Netball Association.

This program covers 12 weeks and provides participants with the opportunity to learn, practice and implement the key competencies of umpires in a practical and supportive program.

Participants from all Associations welcome.

Expression of Interest Now Open – Inspire Umpire Academy

Are you an unbadged umpire with on-court experience and working towards your C Badge? This program is for you! 👏

We’re excited to open expressions of interest for our new Inspire Umpire Academy –

12-Week Development Program, designed to support developing umpires through a structured and supportive pathway combining education, confidence-building and practical on-court experience.

⚠️ Limited places available – only 12–15 participants!
�Current Merri-bek umpires will be given priority, however applications from other umpires will also be considered.

Once you nominate, we’ll assess your suitability based on your experience and contact you to let you know if you’ve been successful.

🌟 What’s Included
• 12 x 1-hour weekly sessions delivered by experienced facilitators�• Theory, scenario-based learning and live match-play mentoring�• Weekly focus areas aligned with Netball Australia’s C Badge competencies�• A session with our Head of Athlete Performance covering fitness + nutrition�• Real-game opportunities to gain practical experience and receive feedback

🎯 Session Highlights
• C Badge Success Formula�• Rules & Sanctions – Minor vs Major, Held Ball, Contact and more�• Game Management Protocols – court checks, injury time, jewellery and more�• Game Voice, Language & Presence�• Building Confidence & Match-Play Readiness�• Fitness, Nutrition & Self-Reflection

💰 Cost: $165 per umpire, we will also have an option for participants to participate in lieu of match payments for the upcoming season
