We are proud to announce that Hunter Karate Dojo is recommencing in 2026, returning stronger than ever as a member of the
Traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Federation (TOGKF).
Our dojo is dedicated to preserving and upholding the teachings of Morio Higaonna Sensei, and the Traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate system as created by its founder, Miyagi Chōjun Sensei.

Hunter Karate Dojo will be reopening in 2026.
The Dojo is not currently affiliated with any past organizations. Any past affiliations are historical in any context.
We are currently negotiating affiliation with Okinawa in addition to confirming new training premises and times in Newcastle.

We will have all the updates including out new locations and training times very soon.
