Newcastle Dragon Boat Club Inc. is a dragon boat club located in Newcastle The first five sessions are free.

The club has evolved from a small number of dedicated people with a commitment and vision to dragon boating at a competitive level. The club consists of energetic, enthusiastic people who come together from all walks of life to take up the challenge and enjoy the dynamic sport of dragon boating. We cater for a range of different fitness levels and age groups. New paddlers are welcome and will be offered advice for both on and off the water training. Anyone interested (who is 18 or over, and can swim 50m fully clothed) can just turn up and we will fit you into a boat.

A sensational weekend at Taree for the Manning River Dragons Regatta!
Saturday was the 1km racing and then the Dash for Cash where we placed overall 2nd! 💰A great start for Mitch and Maple at their very first regatta!!
Sunday was all 200m racing in the Women’s, Mixed and Opens.
We made 3 finals!!

2nd Mixed 20’s
2nd Opens 20’s
Maple, Lea and Noodles debuted in the drummer’s seat this weekend and excelled themselves!! 👏👏
