WOW. What a weekend of bowls in Geraldton for our Carnarvon Bowling Club ladies team. Well done ladies you should be proud of what you achieved.. With 3 of them Terri Middleton, Kim Knight and Ricci Chatfield being competition newbies and Lisa Day our amazing, wonderfully patient and ever supportive Captain the ladies played well today and finished the day with one loss and one win. All up they finished 17th out of 24 teams. Great work ladies.

Thankyou again to our supporters and sponsors Ray White Carnarvon and Northern Aspect Constructions.

Next years dates have been obtained too so hopefully we can have two ladies teams enter.

UPDATE....Our Carnarvon Ladies team were 8 down with two ends to go and OMG a six in the second last end....The nerves were completely shot and with an extremely tight head on the last.....the girls got one right on the kitty. The best fight back though to go down by one. Great job girls.

2nd. Our ladies played fantastically in the second game but unfortunately went down in the end.

3rd. WHAT A GAME. I know my clacker valve was working well.
It was down to the wire and ended in a draw.

So proud you you all girls. Get those shoes off, Rest well and Good bowls for tomorrow ladies.

What a chilly start to the night. With only 8 players braving the cold for the Friday night drawn pairs we had to change the format a little. But it all worked and a fun time had by all. Well done to the winners Jim and Reecie and the runners up Cory and Bill. Now to warm up around the fire.

Good luck to our ladies Lisa Day, Terri Middleton, Kim Knight and Ricci Chatfield who are in Geraldton tonight and ready to represent Carnarvon Bowling Club at the Batavia Coast Ladies Classic over the weekend.

What a great night. With only twelve taking to the green but oh my goodness we had some great games.

Huge thankyou to Nicola Marie who volunteered to do the bar so Ricci Chatfield could have a bowl.

We will be having a break next week whilst our ladies Lisa Day, Kim Knight, Terri Middleton and Ricci Chatfield are off to Geraldton to represent the Carnarvon Bowling Club at the Batavia Coast Ladies Classic Competition. Play well ladies.

The club will still be open and run by the guys. Come on down and have a game anyway.

HELLO FRIDAY.......

Carnarvon Bowling Club here we come for the Friday night Drawn Pairs.

I am gathering my loose change for the meat raffle tickets. And already thinking about the delicious sausage sizzle and to wet my palette with a cold beverage or two.

All are welcome to attend even if you just want to watch. But would love for newbies to come and give it a try and maybe win a prize.

Hope to see you tonight from 5pm.

Bowls start at 6 but need names in before that.

Hubba bubba it's hump day and the Friday night drawn pairs are back on this week.
Money, money, money up for grabs for 1st and 2nd places and winner, winner chicken dinner - Chicken Treat vouchers for third.

Soooo come on down Friday night and join in on the fun. Cold drinks, Meat raffles, sausage sizzle and members draw.

Bit late and totally my fault but the Carnarvon Bowling Club team of Cory, Lisa, Jelly and Reecie played well yesterday in terrible conditions. The wind was up and the rain a plenty. But happy to say they won two games and lost one.

Today the blue sky has come through and the wind has eased nicely. Up one game so far and playing amazingly.

Lunch break at the moment and I tell you what the Shark Bay Bowling Club have put on a great feed.
