After being delayed by the rain, we finally managed to get our Russian Stableford Mixed competition played on Sunday.

Longest walkers this week and had their dinner sorted were team Peter Skender and Rita Byron

It was also fantastic to welcome two new visitors, Craig Stewart and Jackson Heng from Opal Packaging, playing our sand greens for the first time. By all accounts, they thoroughly enjoyed their day! We hope to see you both back again soon. 😊

A huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors, The Carnarvon Hotel, for sponsoring yesterday’s Monthly Mug!

It was an extremely challenging day with some very blustery conditions, but credit to everyone who battled it out and managed to finish the round! πŸŒ¬οΈπŸ‘

And what a day for Phil Frzop! Following his fantastic hole-in-one the day before, Phil backed it up with a great round to take out the Men’s Monthly Mug with a 73!

Our 2026 Open has officially wrapped up – and what a fantastic success it was!
An amazing couple of days filled with great golf, new friendships, and plenty of fun all round.

We were thrilled to welcome 56 players to our event β€” a fantastic mix of our valued members, great friends from Exmouth Golf Club and all new and returning players and visitors from all other clubs.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors, your support makes it all possible. I would also like to thank our committee members, Nola and the Soroptimist ladies, bar staff, volunteers and our green keepers who went above and beyond to make sure our course was at its best and that the weekend was all that we had hoped for.
We truly appreciate each and every one of you.
