FC Birrarung would like to express its deepest gratitude to Tom Beslagic, who has stepped down from his roles at the club, including Senior Men's Coach, effective immediately.
In his 13 years at FC Birrarung Tom has been a mentor to countless players and coaches, and has driven the club to be bolder in its ambitions.
As one of the club's inaugural Club Coach Coordinators, Tom helped raise the standard of coaching across our community.
"I have met many amazing people and made some fantastic friendships," said Tom.
"To all the coaches at the club, thank you for stepping up. It means a lot to the club and in time it will mean a lot to your kids. I was fortunate enough to have my father and mother coach me in the sporting teams I played in. Some of my fondest memories growing up were spent in the car or around the dinner table sharing the joy and sometimes the disappointments of the week's sporting events. They may not thank you for it but they will be shaped by it."
