Last Thursday, August 14th, 26 bowlers gathered at Carisbrook, in the glorious sunshine , to play 2 games of 10 ends of bowls before having lunch together. It was an enjoyable social event with people engrossed in conversation as well as aiming to improve their bowling prowess. New players are most welcome to join the group. Just have your name down on the playing list by 9:30 on Thursday morning. It is $6 to play;$1 for the raffle; $5 for lunch - choose from pie, pastie, sausage roll or dim sims.
Don't know how to play -- not a problem. We have spare sets of bowls and always ready to help a new player,just wear flat soled shoes. SO COME AND JOIN US ANY THURSDAY AT 9:30

Congratulations to the winners of our club competitions:

100up was won by Judy Cassidy in a decisive win over Cam Taylor despite the 25 point handicap.

Presidents Cup was won by Laurie Cassidy over Cam Taylor.

Pairs winners were Laurie Cassidy / Cam Taylor over Denise Matic / Ron Baker.
