This is a post for the girls ✨ 💖
We want you to keep swimming!

At 14 years of age girls are twice as likely to drop out of sports than boys are.

At 15, 60% of girls will drop out of organise sports altogether, with time constraints and body confidence being a key component to them walking away from sports.

We want to change that.

And it’s not because we don’t want boys to swim, it’s because we want girls to know that there is a place for them in the pool.

We want girls to know that the water doesn’t care what you look like, it doesn’t care how fast or slow you are, it doesn’t even care if you only visit once a week.

But we care. We care if they keep coming. We care about their health and their well-being - physically, emotionally and socially.

Because girls in sports matter.

They always have.

Our centre looks different at every hour of the day, but it's all water 💦

Early morning Squads. Learn to Swim through the day. Aqua and Gentle Exercise classes in between. Then Squads and Learn to Swim take over the pool again by the afternoon.

There's always something happening at Swimmerz Academy - come jump in! 🏊‍♂️
