Our February “Client of the month” goes to Stephanie Vincent!

Steph started with us way back in July 2017.

Since then, Steph’s journey has gone from no kids, full time job and a consistent 430pm CrossFitter, to marrying Hubby Sam and they now have two beautiful children together.

In this period of time Steph (even when heavily pregnant!!) still managed to show up to training with Zero excuses and kept moving. The moment she was able to return to training post pregnancy, she was also back into it, always with a smile on her face.

The best part of her journey is that she now she juggles her Full time job, getting two kids to and from school and is determined enough to have changed her training schedule to 5am class so she can maintain a healthy lifestyle for herself and her family.



On top of this, she has not missed to many CrossFit Opens, even once taking out fitness’s pregnant Australian Mother.

Steph, you an inspiration to us all!

In 2023 this incredible lady CJ Mawson decided to put herself FIRST. Stopped at nothing to change her lifestyle. Made herself a priority. And boy has she succeeded 🥹😍

“ I have thought about what to write for so long and still get lost, i went to the website for some inspiration and still was thinking what does one say to people who have literally saved my life

So here goes....

I started at CFi before it even had the name, back in 2013. I have trained intermittently for years, choosing crossfit as my passion. I had time off, i had injuries, i lost my focus and discipline.

I went away and Tash stayed as my PT in 2021, still training infrequently. 2022 came around and I had some big hurdles in my personal life to overcome. I had a stressful job, spent alot of time driving and not making training or making up ALL the excuses to not train, by the time December came i had packed on close to 20kg without knowing.

More so i was the heaviest, most unhappy and unfit i had ever been. So, in January this year i decided it was time to put myself first, to put my love of crossfit, my nutrition, my mental health and my body first.

Alongside the help of a nutritionist and the ongoing support of Jase, Tash, and the CFi coaching team I never gave up.
As of late 2023, I have lost 14.5kg- I am the healthiest I have ever been, the fittest i've ever been and my mental health is thriving.

CrossFit Inventive is more than just a gym, it's such a supporting environment, there's fun, friendly competition and happy humans all round.

The transformation of my body and my mind has been so beneficial to all aspects of my life.

CFi really is the definition of "No one gets left behind". Through the ten years i have known Jase and Tash, they have never stopped helping me be the best version of me, and i am forever grateful for them, hard work truly does pay off.”
