Holiday Swim Clinics are HERE! 🚀

Ready to turn those small technical changes into BIG race-day improvements? Our specialised clinics are designed for squad swimmers aged 10–17 who want to sharpen their skills, build confidence and take their swimming to the next level.

Our experienced coaches will be on deck throughout every clinic providing guidance, personalised feedback and practical tips to help every swimmer get the most out of each session.

Pricing
Individual clinics are $35 each
Attend all five clinics for a discounted package price of $150
Whether your swimmer wants to refine a particular stroke, sharpen their starts and turns or build confidence ahead of race season, these clinics are a great opportunity to focus on the small technical improvements that can make a big difference.

Meet Riya Bali 👋

Riya trains with our Senior Squad seven sessions a week, with some pretty big goals in her sights - States, Nationals and, one day, the Olympic Games.

But ask Riya what keeps her coming back and it’s not just the goals. It’s the people she gets to train alongside every day.

🌸 Hello Spring! 🌸

Spring is here, bringing longer days, warmer weather and plenty happening at Clem Jones Centre.

🕐 New Aquatic Centre trading hours
Monday–Friday: 5:00am–8:00pm
Saturday: 5:00am–6:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am–6:00pm

🐊 It’s a great time to book the kids into swim lessons.

🏊‍♂️ Our youth swim squad program (CJS) has also been refreshed, with an additional coach bringing further coaching expertise and a renewed focus on technique, skills and swimmer development. The program also features an updated timetable, including new morning sessions.

🏋️ Looking to get moving? Check out our gym and group fitness options and find a program that works for you.

🚶 Prefer to start with a walk? Our walking group meets at Clem Jones Centre every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30am. It’s a great way to get moving and meet others in the community.

🏃 Thinking about joining a run club? Thompson Estate Eastern Suburbs (TEES) is based right here at Clem Jones Centre, with registrations now open and groups for all abilities. Check out their website for more information.

🌸 Thinking about your first triathlon? Carina Leagues Triathlon Club’s Beginner to Triathlon Pink program is a great place to start. Check out their Instagram for details on their upcoming program.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and caring team members to join our Kids Club team!
You’ll be working in our child-minding service, providing a safe, fun and welcoming environment for children of various ages during our session times.

What we’re looking for:
Availability to work 9:00am–11:00am,
Monday–Wednesday

Availability for additional varying shift cover times as required

Immediate start

Current First Aid, CPR and Blue Card, or willingness to obtain these prior to commencement

Previous child-minding or childcare experience is welcomed.
A caring, responsible and engaging approach when working with children

If you were at the Centre today, you were probably wondering what we were up to 👀

We were capturing a little something with the Starlight Foundation ahead of DMan’s 100 x 100m Super Swim next February.

We’re incredibly proud to host this special event each year, raising money to support sick kids in hospital and giving the community a pretty powerful reason to hit the pool.

Last year saw a record 110+ swimmers take part. Next stop, 150.

📣 50M POOL UPDATE 📣

We’re happy to share that the issue with our 50m pool has now been resolved and the pool will reopen tomorrow, Friday 21 August, as usual.

This means squad training, 9:15am aqua class and general swimming will all go ahead as usual.

A big thank you to our pool operators for all their hard work in getting the issue sorted and the pool ready to reopen 🙌 And thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while the pool was closed. We look forward to seeing you back in the pool tomorrow! 🏊💙🏊
