🎉 AND WE’RE BACK! 🎉

What a way to kick off the 2026/27 Cardiff & District Little Athletics season! 💚🖤🤍

Our first Friday night is officially done and dusted, full of running, jumping, throwing, cheering, smiling and plenty of fun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It was so good to see so many familiar faces back at the track and to welcome lots of new athletes and families to the Cardiff crew. 💚

A HUGE thank you to all of our parents, volunteers, age managers and committee members who jumped in and helped make tonight happen. Club nights simply don’t run without you!

And of course, well done to our athletes! Whether you smashed a PB, tried an event for the first time or simply gave it your best, we loved seeing you out there! 🙌

Here’s to another fantastic season at Cardiff! 🏃‍♀️💨

📣 LAST REGO PACK PICK-UP BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS! 💙💚

We’ll be at the Cardiff Little Athletics clubhouse TOMORROW – Sunday 30 August from 3:00–4:30pm for our final Rego Pack Pick-Up + Uniform Try-On session! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

✨ Haven’t registered yet?
Register by 11:00am tomorrow and we’ll have your athlete’s rego pack ready and waiting for collection at the clubhouse tomorrow afternoon!

🧹🐝 Coming down? Why not come a little earlier and lend a hand at our Working Bee!
Our Working Bee kicks off from 1:00pm at Neegulbah Park, and we’d love as many helping hands as possible to get the grounds ready for the new season. Many hands make light work! 💪💚

👕 Then stick around from 3:00pm to collect your rego pack and try on uniforms.

Not long now… our first competition night is Friday 4 September! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re getting ready for another fantastic season at Cardiff and District Little Athletics and would love some helping hands to get Neegulbah Park ready to go!

Whether you can stay for the whole afternoon or just lend a hand for a little while, every bit of help makes a difference. Bring the family along and help us tidy, organise and prepare our grounds for the season ahead. 🧹🌿🐝

New athletes are welcome to enjoy a 2 WEEK FREE TRIAL before committing to registration.

It’s the perfect opportunity to:
⭐ Give athletics a go
⭐ Try a range of running, jumping and throwing events
⭐ Meet our athletes and families
⭐ See how our Friday nights work
⭐ Decide if athletics is the right fit for your family

You can trial at any time during the season, but we recommend coming along at the beginning of the season so that if you decide to join, you’ll get the most value from your registration.

And don’t worry about missing those first results! If you decide to register after your trial, your trial results can be added to ResultsHQ. 🙌

📅 Want to give it a go? Simply come along to our first competition night on Friday 4 September, fill in a quick trial form when you arrive, and then you’re ready to get started! 🙌

Our first Rego Pack Pick-Up Day is this Friday! 💚💙

⭐ Friday 21 August | 5:30–6:30pm
⭐ Friday 28 August | 5:30–6:30pm
⭐ Sunday 30 August | 3:00–4:30pm

👕 Uniforms will also be available to try on at each session, so it’s the perfect chance to make sure you’re ready for the season ahead.

📣 REGISTER BY 7PM THURSDAY!
Any registrations completed by 7pm Thursday 20 August will have their rego pack ready and waiting for pick-up on Friday.

Get set for our new season with our Introduction to High Jump (Flop mats), Triple Jump and Javelin session. Suitable for new and returning athletes in 11s and over age groups (2026-27 season). Book at https://www.trybooking.com/DNOVS. All athletes will be able to participate in all 3 events. Join our coaches Jo (Triple Jump), Greg (Javelin) and High Jump with Australian World Championship Representative Emily Whelan. Open to athletes from all clubs!!! Maximum 45 positions available for this session.
