We held our presentation day today with 22 members in attendance. Along with our patron Ann Merrion Patterson, CBC President Warren Wahlstedt, life members June Hancock and Pat Hoole.

Thanks to Judy Hill and her helpers in organising lunch, of chicken and salads.

The Ann Prichard Shield was presented by Ann Merrion-Paterson to the winners of the club fours, Margaret Merrion, Janine MacDonald, Bianca Hann and Janice O’Reilly also to the runners up Maureen Mitchell, Brigitte Wilson, Helen Lott and Kris Brogan.

CBC President Warren Wahlstedt presented the club triples awards to winners Pat Hoole, Janine McDonald and Janice O’Reilly, and to runners up Maureen Mitchell, Kris Brogan and Helen Lott.

Club pairs winners are Kris Brogan and Karen McPhie, runners up Margaret Merrion and Maureen Mitchell presented by Life member Pat Hoole.

Minor singles winner Nerida Regent, runner up Sharon Reynolds presented by Secretary Karen McPhie.

The Daphne Hancock shield, club consistency, was won by Janice O’Reilly with Judy Hill as the runner up. The shield was presented by June Hancock, the daughter in law of Daphne.

The major singles was presented by President Maureen Mitchell to the winner Janice O’Reilly and Margaret Merrion as the runner up.

Janice O’Reilly responded on behalf of the players, thanked everyone for participating in the games especially as we are a small club. She then thanked, the green keeper Trent along with Amanda from the bar for their help during the year, and to all who helped set and cleaned up today.

We then sat down to coffee and cake.
