MV would like to congratulate Team Jo and Tiger on their first official 4 competition points at the recent scallywags halloween comp. A long journey for this pair and we are super proud of this duo for persevering!!! Finally Tigers brain clicked into place enough to focus on his job! Can't wait to see what the future holds! Maximum Velocity travelled to Canberra this weekend past to compete at the flyball nationals. Combined with our good friends at Game On Flyball Racing we closed our eyes and entered 4 dogs in open. Cooper, Posie, Kenickie and Cool Beanz gave it their all over 2 days racing. Coming in a very respectable 2nd. Back ups Aura and Onyx were barely needed as our 4 core dogs proved they could hold it all together. Shout out to the best boxloader in the world Ben and happy birthday for today! Congratulations team!

Our deepest sympathies to Louise, Cool Beanz & Gigi who lost Cookie Monster today. Although Cookie was already retired from flyball, she was a huge part of Maximum Velocity since the club started.

Before retiring Cookie competed until she was 14 years old! Gaining a massive 4,207 points over her flyball career with the highest possible title, 'Flyball Dog Grand Champion - Ezri Award'.

Cookie will be greatly missed by Maximum Velocity & everyone in the flyball community.

Cool Beanz & Wiley ventured to Symonston yesterday for their Mayhem competition to compete in an open team.

The team was made up of dogs from Maximum Velocity, Tuggeranong Torpedoes, Canberra X-Factor & Flyball Friends.

The points have now been uploaded for Canberra Royal back in February & that means we officially have a new title in our ranks!

Wiley is now a Flyball Master Champion (FMCh) with 1014 points to his name!! πŸ’™

Due to many point, team & location issues over his almost 9 year flyball career, this was a big milestone for him to achieve & his family are very excited.

Congratulations Wiley!!! πŸŽ‰
