IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM HISS: NECK GUARDS NOW MANDATORY!

Attention all hockey players! Effective immediately, neck guards are now REQUIRED for all games, including NIHL, Drop-ins and the upcoming IHNSW season at HISS. Don't have one? Head to Skaters Network Newcastle at HISS, NOW to get one before your next game.

Players found not wearing a neckguard will be asked to leave the ice to fit one. Should this not happen officials will penalise players as per IIHF Rule 12.1 Illegal equipment.

Your safety is our top priority!
