Capalaba Bulldogs is a family friendly, inclusive football club based on Brisbane's Bayside. As of 2024 season, both our Men's and Women's first teams compete in FQPL1 - the second highest division in the SE QLD area. Our Academy - which includes boys & girls in the under 9 to under 16 age groups - has just been upgraded to SILVER STATUS by Football Queensland (November 2023). We also offer commun

After three incredible years at Capalaba Bulldogs Football Club, we say farewell to Chris Shepley and take the opportunity to thank him for the enormous contribution he has made to our club.

As our NPLW Head Coach, Chris has played a major role in the growth and development of our women’s program. His three years at the club have included an incredible achievement.

Guiding our top women’s team from FQPL1 to NPLW, a promotion that will forever be an important part of the club’s history.

But Chris’s contribution has gone far beyond the football pitch.

He has helped shape and develop our women’s program, supporting players, coaches and the broader football community along the way. His passion, knowledge and commitment have helped lay important foundations for the future of women’s football at Capalaba Bulldogs.

Chris has also been the creative force behind much of our social media, branding and club identity, helping us tell the Bulldogs story and showcase our people, teams and achievements. Most notably, he played a key role in bringing our new club logo to life, something that will remain part of our identity for years to come.

Three years is a long time to give to a football club, and we are incredibly grateful for everything Chris has contributed; on the sideline, behind the scenes, in the creative space and, most importantly, to the people who make up our club.

Chris, thank you for your passion, your dedication, your creativity and your belief in the Bulldogs.

We wish you every success in the next chapter of your journey. You leave knowing that you have made a genuine and lasting impact on Capalaba Bulldogs Football Club.

Congratulations to our FQA3 U18 Boys team whose dominant 8 - 0 home win over Ipswich on the weekend saw them clinch the 2026 Premiership on the final day.

A massive season long effort from all involved and everyone at the Club is incredibly proud of your achievement.

Our attention now turns to our home Semi Final against Moreton City on Saturday September 12th as the lads set their sights on the season double.

We’re excited to confirm that the Bulldogs will be hosting the Football Queensland Foundations of Football course on Saturday the 24th October.

The Foundations of Football course is the first step on your coaching journey and provides a fun and safe environment to enhance your skills and grow. The course is open to the public, providing a great opportunity for coaches, volunteers and anyone looking to further develop their football experience.

We are encouraging the Bulldogs community to get behind our NPLW coach Ken Roberts as he participates in this years 'Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer' event supported by Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS).

As a BMS employee, Ken was selected to represent the Australian branch taking part in this year's event and has been training relentlessly for this year's ride, putting in the hard km's to get in top shape.
This year the gruelling event is being done in support the for the fantastic cause of Rare Cancers Australia.
