FIELDS OPEN ⚽

Summer 6s is ON tonight at John Fredericks Park.

Thank you to everyone for your patience today. We held off so the grounds had every chance to dry out, and it means the kids get to play.

The canteen is open too. See you tonight.

Two FQ fees. For competitions we organise and run ourselves.

We do the registrations. We provide the fixtures, grounds, lights, referees and volunteers. We do all the work that makes these competitions happen.

So what exactly are our players getting for the additional $35?

Last night members and our President from Capalaba FC joined over 100 clubs from across Queensland to ensure we continue to drive towards greater transparency and access to our great game for players across the state.

It was great to see so many clubs represented and standing united.

Competitive on the pitch. United for the game off it.

🌟 Bulldogs shout-out: Ivy! 🌟

A big congratulations to Ivy from our U14 Division 1 Championship-winning girls team, who has been making waves on the Futsal court! ⚽👏

Ivy was part of Balmoral State High School’s U15 girls team that won the School Futsal State Championships, securing their place at Nationals in November! 🏆

She also took to the pitch in Friday’s QFSL Junior Girls Grand Final, with her team finishing runners-up after a closely fought 1–0 result. What a fantastic effort!

It’s brilliant to see our players thriving beyond club football, and a lovely reminder of how the encouragement and support they receive at the club can carry through into their school football and beyond.

A special mention to Adem, recently recognised as Community Male Coach of the Year, for the encouragement and support he gives our girls and the role he plays in helping them grow and develop as players. 💙

Well done, Ivy! We’re proud to see you representing yourself, your school and our club so well.  🙌⚽
