We’re raising funds for Infinitely Valued, helping create more opportunities for people with disability to be included, connected, empowered and genuinely valued in their community.

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Today is for the dads, stepdads, grandads, uncles, coaches, mentors, friends and all of the incredible men who choose to step up and be strong, positive role models in the lives of our young people.

Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t believe family is defined by biology. Family is defined by the people who show up. The people who stand beside you, guide you, believe in you, challenge you, protect you and remind you that you matter.

And today I especially want to acknowledge our amazing Honoured staff and mentors.

I get to watch these incredible young men show up for our kids every single week. They coach them, listen to them, laugh with them, encourage them and lead by example. Sometimes they probably don’t even realise just how much the young people around them are watching and learning from who they are.

Strong male role models matter.

Not just men who teach our boys to be physically strong, but men who show them that real strength is kindness, respect, patience, integrity, compassion, accountability and having the courage to show up for others.

For some young people, the person who makes that difference might be Dad. For others, it might be Grandad, an uncle, a stepdad, a coach, a teacher, a mentor, an older brother or simply someone who decided to step into their corner and stay there.

So today, we celebrate all of you.

To every man who has chosen to show up for a young person and be someone they can look up to, thank you. You may never fully understand the impact you are having, but I promise you, it matters.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible men helping raise, guide and inspire the next generation.

We’re at Westfield Carindale today, and I’ve brought along some of my very cute little helpers who are busy getting the word out!

Being named a Westfield Local Hero would mean so much more than an award ,it’s an opportunity to bring real support back into our community and help us continue creating spaces where young people, people with disability and families can feel like they belong, are valued and have people in their corner.

We only have ONE WEEK until voting closes!

It was an absolute honour to show Capalaba Rotary around Honoured tonight.

We loved having the opportunity to share what we do, thanking them for supporting our incredible community and talk about the impact we’re working to create through inclusion, connection, opportunity and belonging.

We’re incredibly grateful to have organisations like Capalaba Rotary taking the time to learn more about Honoured and the people behind it.

Community supporting community, that’s what it’s all about.
