What a fabulous start to the weekend! Thanks to all my awesome volunteers for showing up and braving the chilly weather. I could not have done without you. Once again, I forgot to take the volunteer photo; if someone could please remind me next week, I'd really appreciate it.
The results have been processed, and some of the photos will be up shortly. Apologies to those I missed on the first loop; for some reason, our camera was a little sporadic with the photo-taking function, so I switched to my phone instead. Hope I captured everyone at least once.
Special mention to long-time Capalaba parkrunners, the Chadwicks, who achieved PBs this morning; not an easy feat after completing over 500 parkruns each! Also, a shout-out to Emily N, who achieved her sub-30 goal this morning. Well done!
Also, WELL DONE to everyone who got out of bed this morning and participated! I hope you enjoyed your parkrun.
I still need a little help for next Saturday, so if you're keen and available, the following roles are still up for grabs:
- Finish Tokens (now filled✅️)
- Barcode Scanner/ First Junction Marshal
- Photographer (nice to have, but would prefer to fill the other roles first).

- Timekeeper
- Finish Tokens
- Barcode Scanner/ 1st Junction Marshal
- 2nd Barcode Scanner (can run first if fast)
- Course checker
- Marshal (greyhounds).
