Capalaba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Capalaba, QLD Australia. First timers run brief will be held at 6:50am and general run brief will be at 6:55am each week. Capalaba parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to

take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

A huge thanks to everyone that has put their hand up to volunteer tomorrow, however, we are still on the lookout for a marshal for our Greyhounds turnaround for the morning. Please someone help us out! Comment below or send us an email if you’d like this spot!
I was confident earlier in the week that we would fill this spot and made an early call to go ahead with pacers too. There are a few pacer spots available too. 20:00, 37:30, 40:00 and 45:00. If you can help out with one of these, comment below or see me in the morning.
By the way, there are plenty of vacant spots for next week! The future roster will be on the table in the morning, please consider helping us out and putting your name on it.
